Description
Slat clips are used in universal post configurations to secure the top slat and complete the panel assembly. Without clips, the top slat can shift or rattle over time, particularly in wind-exposed installations.
These clips lock the system together, ensuring the slats remain aligned and the panel maintains a consistent, finished appearance. They are quick to install and eliminate the need for visible fasteners, preserving the clean horizontal design.
Slat clips are not required when using fully framed (side frame/U-channel) systems, where the slats are already captured on both sides.
